Doing what you love is the best cure for what ails the world

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive.  And then go and do that.  Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Howard Thurman

What this quote means is that rather than worrying about what’s needed in the world around you, instead ask yourself what it is that inspires and moves you. Once you know what excites you, go and do that. The world comes alive by being full of people who’ve come alive by doing what they love.

When people are doing the things which they love, they are happy, productive and a boom to everyone around, because that type of attitude is contagious. When enough people are doing what they love, the needs of the individual, the community and the world are met.
